Humans are creatures of many faces. The person we are with our friends is not the same one our Grandma sees at Thanksgiving. That’s what came to mind when Borderline Eleven’s Read Between The Lines came through my earphones. Definitely looking between the liner notes, hooks and beats you can hear the tug-o-war between the pop rock vocals and the heavier sound the instrumentals, but like humans, we need both sides to be ourselves, to be whole. Those who House of Heroes and The Classic Crime will back Borderline Eleven’s sound from the quintessential pop punk sound of “Not Coming Back” to “2 A.M,” the song that makes the girly girl in me swoon at my speakers.
