Yellow Day Union: Yellow Day Union
Florida is home to three things I love to death; Backstreet Boys (haters to the left), New Found Glory and Disneyworld (I’ve never been because I’m poor but I’ve heard good things). So when I discovered Yellow Day Union hailed from the promise land, I had little doubts about their latest, Yellow Day Union. An apocalyptic intro straight out of a Will Smith Blockbuster sets the tone for the rest of the record. Lines delivered in a Anthony Green-like manner of “feeding the weak” and “this is the end” go well with the 2012 predictions. Then, moods are lifted with “19 Out of Twenty” and “The Art of Confusion (Wait For You),” which will have the sentimental folks’ hearts. Yellow Day Union’s Yellow Day Union, a soundtrack for the end of the world perfect for fans of The Sleeping and Saosin.
